I have over 25 years of experience advising private individuals (young & Old) and some companies. I love my job. I explain things in plain English. It may all seem complicated and expensive, but I am very good at keeping it simple. Many of my older clients just need someone to sit down with them to give them reassurance and peace of mind. My main role is not about investing someone’s money to try to make it grow without too much risk or high/unnecessary fees and charges. That is a tiny part of it. Most of my conversations are about getting to know you – what are your plans, objectives, goals?
When I tell people what I do - most people start by telling me “ I don’t have any money, or I don’t need financial advice!” – that is a very normal reaction but there are so many things I can help with. It really doesn’t cost you anything to sit down with me for an initial chat and most people that I sit down with do benefit – even if it has helped them just to understand something better. I am not a salesperson – I am an adviser who likes to take time and build relationships with clients and their families. If I can help, we will agree any fees before any chargeable work starts. I also enjoy networking and building relationships with other professionals to help and support each other’s clients.
