The Ambleside group meeting is a friendly, dynamic meeting co-hosted by experienced networker, Helen Schollar 

The group brings together Cumbrian based business women with a wide range of professional experience, so there is plenty of opportunity to gain support and share expertise and business contacts and connections 

WIBN groups thrive when new businesses visit, so please come and join our next meeting, tell us about your business and how we can help

WIBN group members build strong working relationships through the group monthly meetings, and gain great value from multiple membership benefits including access to the members portal, and opportunities to utilise  WIBN local and national social media to promote your business

Non-members are most welcome to visit any WIBN group once or twice to see if we are for you. Visiting members can visit any other WIBN group up to 4 times per group per year (category permitting).

Meeting Fees

In person meeting - £39 including lunch 

Visitors from other WIBN groups - £35 including lunch 

Online meetings (Aug and Dec only) - £25

Meeting Structure 

11:45am – Coffee and informal networking

12pm - Welcome and Monthly Minutes - your chance to share your business with us for 60 seconds 

12.45pm - A business support topic 

1:00pm - Lunch

1.15pm - Business Spotlight - a focus on one member’s business

1:30pm - Let's Talk Business - Your chance to talk about each other’s businesses through share testimonials, pass business contacts and referrals and request 1:1's 

1:50pm - Close and more informal networking

Professional Exclusivity

We operate a professional exclusivity policy so members have their professional category seat within their group as part of their membership benefits. Visitors can come to a group where their profession is not taken to try this group and WIBN. The exclusivity policy doesn't apply to visitors.
