What first drew you to starting your business?
The Events business I have built over the last 15 years suffered heavily in the pandemic and gave me time to think about work & family. I was already an advisor for Thermomix and could see others doing well. The brand is still relatively unknown in the UK and I seized the opportunity to become a Team Leader. I achieved that goal in June 2021 and am steadily growing my team and customer base.
What is the best thing about being your own boss?
I love the flexibility it brings the great incentives and trips and my Thermomix Family.
What's your advice to other women going into business?
Be yourself, be kind and listen to others especially your customers (or potential customers)
Tell us something about yourself we might not expect?
I used to sail for a living and trained crew that raced around the World in 2004 as well as supporting the Atlantic Rowing Race.
