What first drew you to starting your business?

p>When my grandson was born back in 2011 I knew I needed to do something financially so we could visit my family when they moved to the US (my son-in-law was in the American services). I’d met a few people doing Arbonne, one person in particular who I knew, liked & trusted so I joined.

I knew nothing about skincare & I knew nothing about the network marketing industry but I was willing to learn because I saw a solution

What is the best thing about being your own boss?

It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I’m meeting, connecting and helping amazing women on a daily basis and it brings me absolute joy.

I am part of a positive community who support & encourage me & recognise my achievements and the personal development I have undertaken in the time I’ve been in the business has been absolutely incredible.

What's your advice to other women going into business?

Don’t try and do it all yourself. Be prepared to ask for help with the stuff you’re not so good and don’t forget your own self care

What is your top tip for success?

Success is built on the small, seemingly insignificant tasks you do on a daily basis consistently .. make sure you build them into your schedule.

Tell us something about yourself we might not expect?

This wasn’t easy but I shared this with someone yesterday who asked me the same question. Back in the 70’s in my hippy phase I had longish crazy hair, I used to walk around London in bare feet with a long skirt and my guitar strapped to my back!
