I'm a funeral celebrant and grief coach. It’s a funny thing to say, but I love funerals, because they bring out the best in people. Rarely do people have a bad word to say about someone after they’ve died. Everyone wants to remember the good in a person, so that’s what they tell me about when we talk about their loved one.
I get to hear the best stories, the funny ones, the endearing tales that if you didn’t love them already would make you fall in love with them. And then, I get to share them with the congregation.
I am so blessed to be able to help families through their darkest days, to guide them into telling the right stories, to build up a sense of their character and personality. To send them on their final journey with love, compassion and gratitude.
I believe in good funerals, ones that honour our loved ones and all aspects of their life. I am a member of the LGBT+ community and in my experience, aspects of lives that exist outside the “norm” can be swept over in services. I promise to do my utmost to give the best service I possibly can, for any and all who ask it of me. Every service will be crafted from beginning to end by myself, I will create a ceremony they will be proud of, and will include whatever aspects they wish; humour, religion, sensitivity.
I am at your service to create the best ceremony for your dearly departed.
Choose me if you want to have someone with you from beginning to end of your funeral service. And someone who'll check in again from time to time if you need it.
I will go the extra mile where ever I can to help you and your loved ones on the very rocky road of grief and loss.
Choose me if you want an individual service, I am certainly not a one size fits all celebrant.
As well as being a funeral celebrant, I have also written a guide to death preparations. The Legacy Book is more than just funeral guide or an end of life planning book. It is designed to help you and your families face the impossible together. From your final days to your farewells, and beyond. This book will help your family through probate, will readings, funeral planning, and the unthinkable void you will leave behind.
You owe it to the people you love to make the end as easy as possible. The Legacy Book will guide you through that, and it's never too early to start talking about the end. Though too often, it's too late.

"WIBN has been integral in my business growing from strength to strength through the networking of like-minded women. I have gained business and referrals that have been profitable and had the opportunity to make connections
that have been beneficial and hopefully have been able to do the same for other members."
