'Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.'
Whoever it was who actually said this had a point. And it's a point I didn't really get until I left my teaching career of 18 years and realised I hadn't switched off from work in all that time!
By that time, I had two step children and a young son and I realised that I had missed out on so much with them. I had been there physically, but mentally and emotionally I was absent as I got lost in the constant juggling of work and family life.
I made some changes - not great sweeping ones but small, subtle ones - and got my life back.
Now I help others find enjoyment and happiness EVERY day because LIFE IS NOW!
Using a combination of mindfulness, meditation and creative exploration, I help people to reduce stress and overwhelm and reconnect with the everyday joy that life has to offer.
I work with clients on a 1:1 basis and run group programmes for men and women. I also have a monthly membership which is all about starting each morning intentionally - giving yourself some space and time to just BE before you go about your working day - and this is proving to be hugely beneficial.
