I am a partner and the head of the family law department at a boutique firm in Mayfair, London. I deal with all aspects of relationship breakdown for divorcing couples and couples who are dissolving a civil partnership. I can also assist couples who have been living together and who are facing the end of their relationship.
Breaking up is incredibly hard and deeply personal. You need someone who can help you negotiate the legal minefield of a financial agreement or the arrangements for the children. I take the time to get to know you and what makes you tick. I offer an initial consultation for which I do not make a charge. I think this is fundamentally important. You are having to put your trust and faith in a legal professional and the only way that you can make a decision about the right family lawyer for you from the many out there is if you have the opportunity to speak to your family lawyer first without any kind of obligation or payment.
I do not deal with just relationship breakdown - I also deal with wealth protection so I can assist you with a trust deed if you are planning to buy a home with your partner and are putting in the greater share of the capital into your joint home. If you are looking to get married you might for example want to protect your inherited assets or quite often if you are getting married a second time after a successful career you might feel anxious about investing your capital in a marriage. In such cases I can offer you a prenuptial agreement for your peace of mind.
