With a background in hospitality management – looking after people and arranging effective and enjoyable events is something I have had the joy of doing for over 25 years.
I joined WIBN in 2010 as a member promoting my own therapy business and quickly saw the power in networking and making authentic connections. I didn’t just triple my investment in the first year and come away with firm friendships but I also got my own team of cheerleaders in the shape of the other members ready to assist, support, connect and pass business my way. Therefore when the opportunity to become a franchisee arose I didn’t need to be asked twice . For the past 10 years I have been looking after WIBN groups in the capital, managing nine of the London groups as well as the Colchester WIBN and in 2021I launched the National Online 'WIBN Angelou' group.
My advice to anyone when networking would be approach each meeting from the point of view who can I help, rather than who can help me - think “farming not hunting" and you won't go far wrong!
