Our St Pancras member and owner at One Of A Style Stefania Bartolomei has received not one but 2 awards at the recent The Best Business Women Awards
A Prestigious Awards Show
The Best Business Awards is a prestigious awards that has been running for 7 years, and it acknowledges the businesswomen's acumen, determination, creativity, and tenacity.
Every year there are several categories, and a business owner can apply to more than one, as long as it's relevant to the business. There is a panel of expert judges that thoroughly examine the applications and determine the finalists in each categories.
In It To Win It
Stefania applied for three categories: Most inspirational, Best Consumer business and Best Customer Service, and was announced as a finalist in the last two (Best Consumer business and Best Customer service)
A Worthy Winner
The final Gala night was held on the 15th of October at the Hilton Hotel in Wembley where Stefania was thrilled to be presented with silver awards in both Best Consumer business and Best Customer service.
Stefania says
"It was the very first time I applied for an award, and I didn't apply for the awards because I had an amazing year. I wouldn't say so..on the contrary, I applied because I had a terrible year, maybe the worst since I opened my business."
Magical 2020!
However, it's true that in what was the most challenging time of Stefania's career, she found in herself incredible power, strength, resilience. This also reinforced in her the the love and passion for what she does as a stylist. "I reinvented myself, created new opportunities and collaborations,
and definitely tried to do better!"
"So, yes, these prizes are my WIN for all the efforts and sacrifices I've made, for all the fights I've fought, for not giving up, for being there for people, giving rather than asking, for finding new solutions and ways to adapt, for never losing the focus. And I feel extremely proud.
I am happy, even if I wasn't first and didn't get the golden prize. But these 2 silver stars definitely are a victory." Bigger & Better Things
And this is not the end. Stefania is still striving to do bigger and better things and we've no doubt she will succeed. So who knows, maybe next time it'll be gold?
