Each one of our many WIBN groups is owned and managed by a wonderful Franchisee. These fantastic businesswomen are the heart and soul of our network and make each meeting a fun and fruitful place to be.
The franchisees are businesswomen just like you, and just like many of you they own multiple businesses. Owning a business with WIBN lends itself very well to working alongside another business (or two). This is because you can combine networking with business development and grow your contacts in a really effective way.
Our Chester & Liverpool franchisee Rosie Diver does just that. She owns three unique businesses that all work perfectly alongside each other.
Digital Coach
Rosie’s first business is the Thinking Woman’s Digital Coach. Rosie helps transform those who can’t and don’t, into those who can, and do!
With her fresh approach to developing a digital mindset Rosie helps you reduce overwhelm and confusion with your tech and move your businesses forward. She shows businesswomen how to use the right tools for the job, reduce the stress of tech-based misery, and saves you time, and money. It’s a way of empowering you and putting an end to the misery of tech-stress. Delivered via a coaching, mentoring and accountability approach to learning business based digital skills.
Rosie very successfully built her digital coaching business with the help of networking. Before she became a WIBN franchisee she was a member of the Liverpool group. Here she met lots of fellow businesswomen and quickly gained clients.
Women In Business Network Franchise
When Rosie was offered the opportunity to become a business owner with WIBN it was a ‘no brainer’. She describes it as the next logical step because she loves the supportive and nurturing environment that the Women In Business Network has created.
I love it that it’s women supporting women, I love the way women network. It was an opportunity to have a ready made, currently working well business that I could add to my portfolio, and I love every second of it.
Of Paths And Paddles
Of Paths & Paddles is Rosie’s third business and at first glance it may seem a little out of place..
This fun and unique opportunity offers Women only adventures, at nature's pace to reset and recharge your batteries, connect with yourself and other like-minded women.
Including canoeing, paddle boarding and guided mindfulness walking (and paddling).
Of Paths & Paddles helps women to reconnect with the outdoors, find space in their busy lives and discover their potential.
Rosie has been a canoe coach since 1996. And her canoe courses are a fun, relaxed, challenging, different way to spend your time. Just imagine, you and a group of like-minded women, paddling smoothly along a stretch of water. All you can see are trees, the sky, wildlife, your new friends and the water in front of you, reflecting the beautiful outdoors all around you. You can sense the calm, feel connected, empowered, strong and with each paddle stroke, you will push yourself further and further from your old comfort zone.
How do these three different businesses work together?
You may think; how does running a digital coaching business, a women’s networking business and an outdoor adventure business at the same time work? We asked Rosie the same question.
They slot together nicely, because they are multiple facets of me. I have had my own business for 11 years and as I started out in business I learned about networking. I have been a networker for many years and can see the benefits and joys of networking to build my business. And I love being in a room supporting other people, it is absolutely at the core of who I am and what I do.
Rosie’s passion for supporting and helping other people is something she brings into all three of her businesses and that’s why they work so well together.
Whether she is helping businesswomen to solve their tech problems, building their network or giving them the opportunity to thrive not survive by trying something new and adventurous.
How to use networking to build your business
As an experienced businesswoman that uses networking to boost her business Rosie is the perfect person to share her knowledge.
She has experience networking both as a member and group facilitator so she can bring lots of insight to the do’s and don’t of networking. So, we asked her the question… What is your top tip for women who are starting out and looking at networking to help their business.
Rosie answered that the biggest mistake is that people focus too much on who they are and what they do; rather than how they can help and the amazing results they can bring.
Rosie’s top tip is…
To be outcome focused and to tap into the emotion. Who doesn’t want to work with you so that they can feel more joy, less stressed or more energised.
Start A Business With The Support Of Other Women
As Rosie has said networking is a great way to meet like-minded people and most importantly grow your business. The tips and advice you can pick up are invaluable and the opportunities are endless.
However, it can also be a great business opportunity in itslef. The Women in Business Network (WIBN) has some great opportunities to start your own business. And the best part is that you can do it alongside your existing business.
The Women in Business Network (WIBN) has enquiries every week from women across the UK who want to join but don’t have a group in their area. Opening a new group in your area will help you to build a business and a Network.
You can start your own WIBN group as a franchisee which means you are your own boss, managing your own time and finances.
Our tried and tested business model sets you up for success and you will receive coaching and ongoing support from other experienced businesswomen.
